History
For almost 27 years, Chesterfields has been serving up memorable meals for hungry sailors, local business people and our friends. Back in the 1980s, Chesterfields was the gathering place in Great Bay for cruisers, racers, captains and crew. Hurricanes Louis and Lennie gave us an opportunity to rebuild our deck overlooking the bay, as well as making a few other changes to the restaurant, but over the years, Chesterfields' friendly staff and great food have made Chesterfields a tradition here in St. Maarten.

Chesterfields staff, most of whom have been with us since we opened, have been serving up hearty breakfasts, leisurely lunches, and special dinners for almost three decades.

"If you came when we opened, and came again now, you'd find the same old Chesterfields! Not that much has changed. Customers keep coming back, year after year, and they remember us, and we remember them. They come for our Pina Colada or a Rum Punch, and everyday we've got something special on the menu. Sailors, politicians, locals, tourists, they all come. Everybody's welcome at Chesterfields".
